Charlie Girl – Simple Portrait of Black Labrador Dog against Black Background

This image was created by Rachael for her own Portfolio collection; Rachael had met Charlie Girl at a Doggy Daycare facility and was taken by her striking looks and soulful eyes. After seeking permission from Charlie Girl’s owner to photograph her, Rachael set up a Black Background in the carpark outside the Doggy Daycare and photographed Charlie Girl while all the crazy antics of Dogs in Daycare continued inside. Sometimes props can add to an image and sometimes images don’t require anything else but the soulful look of the subject staring down the lens, Charlie Girl definitely needed nothing but her brown eyes to mesmerize the viewer in this stunning portrait.

Charlie Girl was Photographed in Natural light using a Hasselblad H2 camera with a Phase One Digital Back.
