Mischka - Akita Dog standing at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, Manhattan, New York City.

Waking up to find New York City coated with a dusting of snow would often make people feel like snuggling back under the covers to stay cozy and warm, not Rachael, she was up and out as quickly as possible to venture into Central Park to capture the early morning dog activity amongst the fresh snow. Mischka was one of the dogs out braving the cold, standing majestically with two feet up on the ledge of the Bethesda Fountain watching some action on the far side of the terrace. No posing, no set up just a peaceful moment capture forever.

This image was published in Rachael’s book The New York Dog.

Mischka was photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in Central Park, Manhattan, New York.

Rachael recommends this image to be framed using a Black, White, or Dark Wood Frame, with or without a white border.
