Slim, Oscar & Pluto – Three character Dogs on a leather armchair

This is one of Rachael’s most popular images! Three adorable fur siblings from the same family; Slim the gorgeous lab cross was squished into the corner by her ‘brother’ Oscar the big Bull Mastiff, while Pluto, the labradoodle, took up most of the room rolling around making himself quite at home on Rachael’s favorite leather armchair, which is now covered in dog scratches, but that’s just the way she likes it. It was quite amusing that Pluto was the crazy one during this shoot, Pluto is trained for TV and Film work and is normally under strict command when performing, I think he was loving the fact that he was allowed to be the goofball he naturally is during this performance.

This image was created for the book ‘Why Dogs are Better than Cats’ which was published in conjunction with international best-selling author Bradley Trevor Grieve.

Slim, Oscar & Pluto were Photographed using a combination of Natural light and a Large Elinchrom Octa Softbox using a Hasselblad H2 camera with a Phase One Digital Back

Rachael recommends this image to be framed using the Dark Wood or Black Frame, this image looks best full-bleed when using a dark Frame.
