Beilingot & Beauty – a Maltese and a Maltese cross resting in the shade of Château du Martinet during the heat of a Southern French summer.

It was a super hot day when Rachael arrived at Château du Martinet in Provence, too hot for anything so it wasn’t surprising that Belingot and Beauty didn’t even get up from their shady spot to greet the new guests. Rachael quickly grabbed her camera to capture this gorgeous pair who had naturally positioned themselves in perfect symmetry with the antique plant pot. Thankfully the owners already knew Rachael was here to photograph for her book The French Dog so didn’t ask why she was taking photographs of their pets before she had even unpacked the car.

Beilingot & Beauty were photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in the entrance courtyard of Château du Martinet, in Carpentras, Provence -Alpes-Côte d’Azur, in the South of France.
