Château Saint Loup, Saint Loup Lamaires.
Château Saint-Loup, also known as ‘Puss in Boots Castle’ is remarkable, one of the oldest Châteaux Rachael stayed in while traveling France. It wasn’t until Rachael and Andy were dining with the owner Charles one evening that they discovered that Château Saint-Loup was built by Claude Gouffier and his son Louis. The Gouffiers were also Marquis of Carabas in Italy, the family from whom Charles Perrault created the tale and the character Puss in Boots.
A cropped version of this image was published in Rachael’s book The French Cat.
Château Saint-Loup was photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in Saint-Loup Lamaires, in the Loire Valley, France.
Rachael recommends this image be framed using a Black, White, Dark Wood, or Whitewashed Frame with or without a white border.
Fine Art Prints are available in five different sizes; 10x12, 12x16, 16x20, 24x30 and 30x40 inches
We have a collection of beautifully crafted Wood Box frames available in 5 different colour ways to choose from for framing your Fine Art Prints: Black, White, White Wash, Grey and Dark Wood.
Fine Art Prints can be framed full bleed, or you can choose the option to have a white border around your image to separate the image from the frame. If you choose to have a border, the image size will be smaller; for example, if you choose a 10x12 inch print with a border, your final product size will be 10x12 inch but your image size will be closer to 8x10 inches.
