Cornelia & Webster – Cavalier King Charles Spaniels sleeping on a couch in their home in New York City.

Cornelia and Webster are the beloved pets of a man who had the pleasure of spending many years as the partner to artist Andy Warhol; it was like walking into an art gallery visiting the dog’s home, every wall and every space was adorned with original artworks of the famous artists. These two dogs were completely oblivious to the fact that their lives were surrounded by pieces that many art galleries would be eager to get their hands on. Their favourite spot to sleep wasn’t beneath an Andy Warhol, but beneath another artist's work and next to their dog leads and the basement door so they would never miss the opportunity to head out for a walk.

This image was published in Rachael’s book The New York Dog.

Cornelia and Webster were photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in the comfort of their own home in New York’s Upper Eastside of Manhattan.

Rachael recommends this image be framed using a Black or Dark Wood Frame.
