Eeny, Meeny, Miney & Mo – Four Mix breed Puppies from the same litter sitting together on a skateboard

Rachael was in need of Puppies to capture images for her book Snog: A Puppy’s Guide to Love, not wanting to always use pure-breed dogs, Rachael contacted the SPCA to see if there were any puppies or litters being fostered at the time. She was told about Eeny, Meeny, Miney & Mo; a gorgeous litter of Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Bull Mastiff cross puppies that were being fostered after being found on the street, they were doing really well, healthy and happy; and they sounded totally adorable! With the litter originally being ‘street pups’ Rachael came up with the idea to photograph them all together on a skateboard. Even though they were only 6 weeks old they were BIG puppies, except for Meeny who was the tiny runt. It was a tight squeeze to fit them all on the skateboard so Eeny had to pose with his feet on the ground as there wasn’t enough room for him to sit on the board. To capture an image like this, Rachael had to have two assistants, one at either side of the table where the skateboard was placed, each assistant had two puppies to hold in place and when Rachael made a noise to capture the pups eyes to the camera the assistants would dart their hands away for the second Rachael needed to capture the shot.  This image would make a great addition to your child’s room.

Eeny, Meeny, Miney & Mo graced the pages of Rachael’s book Snog: A Puppy’s Guide to Love

They were photographed in Rachael’s studio on Kodak Portra 160 film, using Natural light with a 4x5” Toyoview Camera.

Rachael recommends this image to be framed Full bleed using a Whitewashed Frame, or with a White Frame if you choose to have a border on your Fine Art Print.
