Flags in Nice, Provence, France
Nice is a city of life, Rachael was taken by the vibrancy and energy of the city, quite a contrast to some of the sleepy, hazy-lit villages that had graced much of her travels. Below in the streets was a buzz of activity, it was noisy and full of life. Looking up Rachael noticed the rich ochre of the buildings, the flags blowing in the gentle breeze, the washing hanging on the lines cast outside windows and the clear blue sky; a snippet of peace sitting above the chaos of below.
Rachael produced hundreds of images during her travels of France photographing for her three French books The French Cat, The French Dog, and Lunch in Provence, not every image made it to publication, this being one of them, but this still is one of Rachael’s favorites.
Rachael captured this image on her Hasselblad H3 Digital Camera, in Natural Light in the City of Nice, Provence, in the South of France.
Rachael recommends this image to be framed using a White, Black, or Whitewashed Frame, with or without a white border.

Fine Art Prints can be framed full bleed, or you can choose the option to have a white border around your image to separate the image from the frame. If you choose to have a border, the image size will be smaller; for example, if you choose a 10x12 inch print with a border, your final product size will be 10x12 inch but your image size will be closer to 8x10 inches.
