Sheep, Gisborne, East Cape, New Zealand
While traveling the countryside of New Zealand while photographing images for her book Little Loves: New Zealand Children and their Pets Rachael often would stop and make friends with the livestock. With Sheep it is important to be calm and move gently so you do not startle them which would send them running away. Rachael never uses long lenses, so always works closely with her subjects, which makes it tricky with sheep. These sheep seemed quite friendly, and Rachael was thrilled to be able to capture so many inquisitive faces amongst the woolly herd.

This image of Sheep was photographed by Rachael using her H5 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in Gisborne on the East-Cape of the North Island, New Zealand
Rachael recommends this image to be framed using a Black, White, Oak, Dark Wood, or Whitewashed Frame with or without a white border.
