Kizzie – Boxer/Dalmatian Cross Dog wearing Rollerskates

This image of Rachael’s own dog Kizzie, a striking Boxer/Dalmatian Cross, will make an eye-catching talking point when it hangs on your wall. Kizzie was photographed in Rachael’s studio wearing Roller Skates painted to match the Roller Skates Rachael use to wear as a child. Rachael placed nails through the underside of a wooden board to keep the roller skates steady and then lifted Kizzie into place. The smile on Kizzie’s face was brought to life when she was teased with the vacuum cleaner (one of Kizzie's favorite pastimes was to bark and chase the vacuum cleaner) by Rachael’s assistant while being told to ‘stay’ as Rachael captured this character image.

This image was used in the book Why Dogs are Better than Cats which Rachael produced with internationally acclaimed author Bradley Trevor Grieve, Kizzie illustrated the portrayal of a ‘Fitness Fanatic.’

Kizzie was Photographed using a combination of Natural light and a Large Elinchrom Octa Softbox using a Hasselblad H2 camera with a Phase One Digital Back

Rachael recommends this image to be framed using the Grey or Black Frame, this image looks best full-bleed when using a darker Frame; this image can also look striking framed using a White Frame, with or without a white border.
