Morning Mist, Loire Valley, France
While staying at Château Saint-Loup in the Loire Valley, Rachael would venture out at daybreak to either wander the streets of the local village to capture the French Cats as they ventured back home from their nightly explorations, or head out into the vast farmlands that surrounded the Château. On this particular morning, it had been a cold night, so thinking there wouldn’t be as many cats about, Rachael went to visit the horses in the nearby fields. As she walked through the grounds of the 16th-century Château, she noticed the mist sitting above the paddocks. Passing the historic stables on her right and with the Château’s moat on her left, she climbed the fence to capture the peaceful scene that rested before her.
Though photographed while creating images for her books The French Dog and The French Cat, this image didn’t make it into publication, it is still one of Rachael’s favorites.
Morning Mist was photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light in the farmland of Château Saint-Loup, on the outskirts of Saint-Loup Lamaires, in the Loire Valley, France.
Rachael recommends this image be framed using a Black, White, Dark Wood, Oak, or Whitewashed Frame with or without a white border.

Fine Art Prints can be framed full bleed, or you can choose the option to have a white border around your image to separate the image from the frame. If you choose to have a border, the image size will be smaller; for example, if you choose a 10x12 inch print with a border, your final product size will be 10x12 inch but your image size will be closer to 8x10 inches.
