Vines in Les Alpilles, Provence, France
During the heat of the day in summer in the South of France, the clouds often build up to create a dense magenta-tinged skyline bringing with it a glorious luminosity to the early evening light. This was a time of day Rachael would love to venture out with her camera, the intense heat of the day had settled and it was more bearable to be out of the shade. The beautiful crisp white rock of the Alpilles mountain range makes a wonderful contrast to the rich green of the vines. This image of the Vines in Les Alpilles mountain range was captured by Rachael just out of St Remy de Provence in the heart of Provence.
This image was published in Rachael’s book Lunch in Provence.
Vines in Les Alpilles were photographed by Rachael using her H3 Hasselblad Digital Camera in Natural Light on the outskirts of St Remy de Provence in Provence, France.
Rachael recommends this image be framed using a Black, White, Dark Wood, or Whitewashed Frame with or without a white border.
