Gourdon, Provence, France
When driving through France it is not uncommon to enter another quaint village within 10 minutes of exiting the previous town. When traveling through the hills of Provence it is the same, but the villages are often majestically situated on the top of rocky mountains, surrounded by stone walls. Fortified towns are common in Provence, over 700 were built during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. When you walk through the narrow pathways of the villages, you stop and pause at the top step and turn to look at the views out over the stunning Provençal landscapes. Rachael photographed this view of Gourdon as she travelled up to the beautiful village on the hunt for the makers of apparently the most delicious Miel (honey) in Provence, both the honey and the views didn’t disappoint.

If you choose to have a border, the image size will be smaller; for example, if you choose a 10x12 inch print with a border, your final product size will be 10x12 inch but your image size will be closer to 8x10 inches.
