Lara – Blue Maine Coon Kitten wearing Daisy Chain necklace

Lara was the first-ever Blue Maine Coon to be bred in New Zealand, so when Rachael found out about her, a photoshoot was quickly scheduled to capture her before she got too big. Maine Coon’s are one of Rachael’s absolute favorite cats to photograph, and this little girl topped the list for her sweet adorable personality and looks. Rachael’s assistant tired Lara and her littermates out playing chasey with the feather teasers while Rachael picked fresh daisies from the garden at the Maine Coon breeder's home to make the Daisy Chain for around Lara’s neck. Lara posed beautifully for her portrait allowing Rachael to create this simple yet emotive portrait which will look gorgeous framed on your wall, it especially would make a beautiful addition to your child’s bedroom or playroom.
